Once you've heard the 12th variation of "FM Bells", you've pretty much heard them all. I've subsequently found and successfully imported a bunch of DX7 patches from the web. The 128 ROM cartridge I got is defectuous and patches 2-5 from bank A are not readable. Any help would be great! The preset bank included above is the original DX7 ROM bank #1 by Yamaha, programmed by Dave Bristow and Gary Leuenberger.
